PTO hosts a series of informational meetings during the first semester in Room 605 by the front desk. They start at 6:30 p.m. and last about an hour. Speakers typically cover topics such as service learning (community service hours), discipline, how to prevent bullying, scholarship information, great study habits and tips, technology at Stagg and health policies. Parents are invited to suggest topics of interest.
Attending meetings is a great way to find out more about PTO and also ask questions you may have and get answers right away. We would love for you to join us!
Upcoming events: We will different dates set up for the first time offering opportunities for families and staff to voluneteer together giving back to the community and those in need. This is a great way to bond with your child/children and connect in a different way with teachers and staff by helping with a project to give back to others! This will be amazing events offered after school or during the weekend to gain meaningful communtiy service hours while making a positive impact in your community. We will have projects such as a food drive for military Veterans, a toy drive for sick kids in the hospital and kids in need and even a warm winter initiative collecting new or gently used winter items to keep the homeless warm during our cold winters. When everyone does a little, we can make a lot happen! Look for more information and feel free to email Staggpto@gmail.com if you have any questions!
The spring teacher/staff appreciation lunches are in December and in April and are in the teachers lounge. PTO will provide sandwiches and pasta but would appreciate donations of side dishes such as fruit, potato salad or coleslaw, relish trays, cheese and crackers, chips or desserts. Students can bring them to the front desk at N1 that morning or parents may drop off by 10 a.m. that day at the front desk. Let's show teachers and staff how much we appreciate them! For information, email StaggPTO@gmail.com.
PTO will present its scholarships during Stagg's Scholarship Night usually held in May of each year.
