In 2019, ADMINISTRATION PLANNED A SENIOR CELEBRATION AT SIX FLAGS, GREAT AMERICA, INSTEAD OF HAVING TRADITIONAL SENIOR PARTY. We received various feedback of pros and cons and will be reaching out for the 2019-2020 school year for a survey to see if a Senior party with our students or a trip to Six Flags is more preferred by our amazing Seniors this year!
AROUND THIS EVENT THE PTO WILL SELL SENIOR T-SHIRTS TO RAISE MONEY. THEY ARE USUALLY SOLD AT SOME UPCOMING LUNCHES CLOSER TO THE END OF THE SCHOOL YEAR. WATCH FOR E-MAILS AND/OR ANNOUNCEMENTS.
SENIOR PARTY DETAILS Imagine hosting a four-hour party for more than 325 high school seniors. That’s what happens every May as Stagg’s seniors celebrate together one last time before graduation. Tickets include a T-shirt, entry into the raffle, all the food they can eat and entertainment such as a hypnotist, roller skating, obstacle course and cotton candy.
We could not pull this off without a lot of parent volunteers both in advance and that weekend. We depend on volunteers for the following:
Soliciting donations of food, raffle prizes and items for goodie bags seniors take home.
Arranging entertainment.
Decorating the Commons the night before the party – and putting the decorations away the morning after.
Filling coolers with beverages.
Donating desserts for the sweets table.
Helping serve food that night.
Cleaning up the kitchen.
Chaperoning students as they participate in various activities.
Meetings for Senior Party begin after winter break.
